Zell Am See Itinerary Overview

  • Saturday, July 26th:  North American Teams Depart Home for Munich
  • Sunday, July 27th:  Arrive Munich Airport, stay in Freising, Germany, Group Dinner.
  • Monday, July 28th:  Salzburg day trip then to Zell Am See, Check into Hotel
  • Tuesday, July 29th: Free day (Gondola, Hike or Swim) practices or scrimmages for all teams.
    • Euro teams arrive.
  • Wednesday, July 30th: Tournament Starts and kickoff party in the evening
  • Thursday, July 31st: Two games for each team
  • Friday, August 1st: Semi and Finals. Tournament ends.
    • NA teams to Munich and hotel stay for two nights in old town.
  • Saturday, August 2nd:  Full day in Munich and group dinner
  • Sunday, August 3rd:  NA Teams depart Munich

Flight Parameters For North Americans

  • FLIGHTS ON YOUR OWN.  
  • Saturday, July 26th:  North American Teams Depart for Munich
  • Sunday, July 27th:  Arrive Munich Airport, stay in Freising, Germany (10 mins from airport), Group Dinner.
    • Arrive Munich Airport (MUC) anytime on Sunday.  Set shuttle times and All others transport themselves via taxis just outside of the door.
      • Shuttle 1 - 9:30 AM
      • Shuttle 2 - 11:30 AM
      • Shuttle 3 - 2:30 PM
      • Early or Late arrivals will need to set up their own taxi and those can be found just outside the doors.
    • Depart Munich (MUC) on Sunday, Augsut 3rd after the tournament.  Shuttles to the airport until Noon. 6 AM, 8AM, 10AM and Noon shuttles.  
    • These shuttles are set times and are the only ones provided by the tournament.  You may go on your own at your own expense.
    • If you need to arrive earlier or later than the shuttles, then you may transport yourself to set location on your own/you pay.  
    Depart North America Saturday of your tour week. If you arrive early then meet us at the airport or at our hotel in Freising on Sunday. We will release hotel information in March.  Your main goal is to arrive Munich Airport on Sunday.

ARRIVAL IN MUNICH AIRPORT – Meeting Point is Terminal 2 Arrivals Door (Bus and Taxi – Near Subway Sandwich)

Travelers arrive at both Terminals (1 and 2)
If your flight is delayed still go to the meeting point and wait.  We have set transportation loads and times so delayed arrivals need to be dealt with on that day.  We do not have room to take anyone at any time.  Our hotel in Munich on arrival day is only 15 minutes away.  You may take a taxi on your own at your own expense.

    • Five games (75 minutes) guaranteed at the Tivoli Hall

Euro team timeline and deadlines are as follows:  

  • Taking applications September - December.
  • January 15, 2024: Small Team deposit due per Euro team
  • May 1, 2024: set team roster & supporters 
  • May 25, 2024: final payment due for all teams

Zell am See is an Austrian town on Lake Zell, south of the city of Salzburg. Its Romanesque St. Hippolyte Church has a distinctive tower added in the 15th century. Trails and lifts lead to the ski slopes of Schmittenhöhe mountain. Southwest, views from Gipfelwelt 3000 panoramic platform, at the top of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, take in Hohe Tauern National Park and the looming Grossglockner mountain.

2012/2013 age levels AA/AAA (not elite).
